You can create a network of filter modules (start them from the "Modules" menu), and you can load in prerecorded samples (using the File->Samples window, then File->Load Sample). To get sound out, you need a "Line Out" module. To connect two modules together, go to the module you're connecting TO and use the drop-down input menus (eg. in the Line Out module, the one labelled "Input". Other modules have different names for the Inputs as appropriate, but they all look the same). eg. connect a Whitenoise module to the Line Out. Next, make sure all the modules you need to make sound are turned On. There is a little "On" button in the top left corner of all module windows. To play samples: use the "MiniMaube" module (in Generators). To record samples: use the "SampleRecorder" module (in Outputs). Make sure you have something connected to it, eg. {Random modules} -> SampleRecorder -> Line Out is usually a good idea, otherwise the SampleRecorder won't get activated. Now, play around connecting and disconnecting modules, and playing with all the sliders :) Hope that helps, Conrad.
